I find myself making solo records more often than not these days. I'm learning more with every project I take on, as a writer, musician and producer. It's a humbling pursuit.
If I had known then what I know now, I would have moved the moon to keep playing with these two gentlemen.
I had the blissfully naive pleasure of doing so for 8 years. Levi Fuller and Boey Bertold are monster musicians.
When you added me, we were 33 Slade.
(pronounced "dool-say"... Spanish for "sweet") This short-lived project came about while Mario Quintero and I were both living in Boston and playing in rock bands.
We never got it together to play live, but I think it may have planted the seed for what we did together later, on some of my solo albums.
I've also performed on, written for and produced other things... I'm not going to list them all here, because they belong to someone else, not me. I'm grateful for the opportunities, however, and acknowledge that I've been present for the making of some pretty incredible music. Thank you.
